Café Libertad has been at The Gallery Building, Amorsolo Street, Makati City for quite some time now. Aside from the fact that they are a coffee shop, Cafe Libertad also serves as a home to musicians (don’t you know that there is a recording studio inside the cafe? Now you know! And guess what, the prices are very affordable… well thanks to me? Kiddin!) AND not to mention, they have a Jazz Night every Thursday.
The cafe has been a place where everyone can freely share their talents — music, art or photography. Some customers left postcards and photographs while some share their music. And the man behind the Café shares his passion for coffee and music — Sir Dan Gil.
He’s been tapping me to remake their glass windows from time to time and all I notice is that he allows me to either do my own style or just do a freehand drawing. So, for the fourth time, I finally did my own interpretation of the word Libertad which means independence or freedom.
